Ahead of July 16, 2022 governorship elections in Osun state fixed by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), the All Progressives Congress has announced March 5, 2022, for the conduct of the primary to pick its candidate.
A statement signed by National Secretary, APC Caretaker/Extraordinary Convention Planning Committee, John James Akpanudoedehe disclosed that the sale of forms will commence on Thursday, November 18, 2021.
The statement also disclosed that Screening of Aspirants, Publication of claims and objections and Screening Appeals will hold on, February 22, 25, and 28, 2022, respectively.
“The party fixed the sale of the forms at N22.5million. While the nomination form costs N20 million, the expression of interest form costs N2.5million. However, female aspirants and physically challenged aspirants are to pay 50% of the prescribed fees.”
